We were delighted to collaborate with Tokyo Weekender for a special evening celebrating the launch of their latest issue. Hosted at Hibiya Okuroji, the event celebrated the convergence of art, culture, and community in the heart of Tokyo.

Live Painting by Dan Ropp
Visitors experienced the creative process firsthand as Dan Ropp, also known as Fly Surreal Art, brought his vibrant artistic vision to life throughout the evening. Originally from the US and now based in Tokyo, Dan is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist specialising in oil paints, acrylics, and spray paint.
Drawing inspiration from both personal experiences and his background as a Navy test pilot, Dan's work blends surrealism with everyday imagery, inviting viewers to see the world from a fresh perspective.

Live Painting by Dan Ropp (Fly Surreal Art)
Dan Ropp, also known as Fly Surreal Art, painted live throughout the evening, giving guests the opportunity to witness his creative process in real time. A former Navy test pilot and humanitarian relief pilot, Dan's unique life experiences continue to influence his vibrant works created using oil paints, acrylics, and spray paint.

The evening offered a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for conversations, new connections, and celebrating Tokyo's creative community.
The Gallery Spaces
Take a look at the atmosphere inside our two gallery spaces during Artober. From quiet moments of reflection to lively conversations, these photos capture the heart of the event, a shared love of art, creativity, and connection. In addition to the gallery exhibitions, several artists also sold their prints and merchandise in the event space opposite, adding another layer of interaction and creativity to the experience.

Artist Mural
Artober March Edition introduced a special mural wall showcasing B2-sized prints from 15 members of the Artedly community. Designed to highlight artists who couldn’t join in person or secure an individual gallery space, the mural brought together a powerful mix of perspectives.
