Hosted by Natsuki of Abroad in Japan fame, the evening was filled with costumes, games, prizes, and plenty of laughs. With prizes courtesy of Psycho Love Vodka and The LOST Bar, and costumes judged by Natsuki himself, guests had every reason to look as scary as possible.

Costume Contest, judged by Natsuki

Costumes are highly encouraged (though not mandatory), and for those dressing up, Natsuki himself will be choosing his favorites. Standout costumes will be rewarded with prizes courtesy of Psycho Love Vodka, Japan’s premium vodka, and the LOST Bar. Do you have what it takes to reign supreme in the Halloween spotlight?

Get into the Halloween spirit with onsite zombie face painting, perfect for adding a ghoulish edge to your look. Whether you’re going all out or just want a few creepy details, our artist can give you the finishing touches that might even help you catch Natsuki’s eye in the costume contest!

Live Painting

Experience the thrill of art in motion as a talented artist creates a unique piece live before your eyes. Watch the canvas evolve throughout the evening, and see how the Halloween atmosphere and the energy of the crowd inspire each brushstroke. It’s a performance as much as it is a painting.

The Event Space

The Event Space at Hibiya Okuroji offers a vibrant atmosphere and will host different exciting events and pop-ups each day, making it a key component of the Artober experience.

Spanning 126.14 m², this space will also provide drinks, refreshments, and a variety of items for sale, including postcards and prints. Celebrate art, creativity, and community with us!

In addition to the vibrant event space, all visitors are welcome to explore two adjacent gallery spaces featuring work by over 40 artists. Every exhibiting artist is part of the Artedly community, and Artober is our yearly celebration of this community, which we have been building together for the last three and a half years.

Below you will find a selection of photos from previous Artober editions. Each year brings a new lineup and fresh curation, but these images give a good feel for the gallery atmosphere and what to expect during your visit.

Note: On Friday and Saturday from 19:00 to 22:00, an event ticket is required to enter the galleries.
