Mr Bingo
Artist, Speaker, and Twat.
Artober was proud to present the first-ever Japanese exhibition of Mr Bingo, the renowned British artist known for his sharp wit and distinctive artwork. Throughout the festival, visitors were able to view 18 of his most celebrated prints, each signed and numbered by the artist himself.
Mr Bingo initially worked as a commercial illustrator for 15 years, contributing to major publications such as The New Yorker and The New York Times. After deleting his online portfolio during a moment of boredom, he shifted his focus entirely to independent projects.

Hirotton
Unexpected Future
Artober was proud to present Unexpected Future, an exhibition by renowned Japanese artist Hirotton, whose work is deeply rooted in punk culture, blending themes of environmentalism, animal rights, and social justice with the raw energy of skateboarding and hardcore punk.
His work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across Japan and abroad, and he has collaborated with iconic brands such as Vans and Heroin Skateboards.

Chants of Sennaar
Artober was immensely proud to feature the remarkable art of Chants of Sennaar. This showcase offered a unique glimpse into the visual brilliance behind Rundisc's captivating video game and provided an opportunity for fans and newcomers alike to engage with the visual elements that made Chants of Sennaar a standout in the realm of digital storytelling.
Each print showcased the unique visual style that Rundisc brought to life, from detailed character designs to the vivid environments that players traverse throughout the game.

Alexandra Lee
Possessions
Hailing from Malaysia and residing in Tokyo, Alexandra is a gifted photographer. Her project, Possessions, beautifully captures portraits of 50 individuals alongside their most cherished belongings.
This creative endeavour had already been exhibited in both Tokyo and Malaysia before Artober, and the festival was fortunate enough to feature 24 of her selected portraits from this remarkable project.

Ambient
Women's Photography Collective
Ambient is a women’s photography collective that showcases the work of female photographers from around the world. The collective aims to empower female photographers by sharing their art and amplifying their stories, with the ultimate goal of increasing female representation within photography spaces.
Ambient provides a place to find inspiration, build connections, and feel part of a community. Artober was proud to host Ambient's first showcase since its inception. The collective was founded by Lisa Knight, who is based in Tokyo.
